I think it's a great kayak for the price. I can't compare it to any other as this is my first one but I was very satisfied with it. There are some annoyances I find with the valve positions with respect to the outside cover. The ones for the left and right bladder, once inflated kept going inside the hole so I had to adjust it a little. I wish there was a better way to affix them to the outside shell so when inflating it will stay in one spot. There is just nothing to hold them firmly in place. Make sure you instal the valves tightly. For some reason after first inflation the bladders went a little soft on me but then I topped them up by mouth while on the water and they were find since. I left mine inflated for 3 days and air did not escape. It's comfortable and cuts thru water pretty fast for an inflatable. I've yet to try it out portaging. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. The service was very polite and I you won't find it cheaper anywhere else.

After much research, I found this item to be, by far the best quality item at there most reasonable price. the fact that it is convertable ( 1 or 2 person) just puts it over the top. Comparable to the Sevylor Rio and Colorado but with a heavier bottom and a much desired skeg.E-Z Test Pool Supplies was helpful and informative on the phone and offers the best price available.
