This is an awesome Pool cleaner. Climbs the walls with ease, scrubbing the waterline without issue. The built in Wifi/bluetooth work perfectly. My cleaner (Nemo)is a timer always ready to clean.

We have an issue with fine particulate, like soot, or even dirt from our dogs paws building up on the bottom of the pool. This unit has one set of micro fine pleated filters and a 2nd set of fine screen filters. Probably if I had lots of leaves I would use the screens, but with our issue I use the pleated ones. You run one or the other, not both. We also have lots of dog hair to deal with, I do need to clean the impeller to keep the dog hair from wrapping around it periodically. Not a big deal just a few screws, sometimes I don’t even need to take the housing off, I can just remove the hair manually from the impeller. I find cleaning the filters to be fairly easy, I can run two 2 hour cycles if the pool is in decent condition before I need to clean them. Performance-wise it makes a difference in the clarity of the water, and based on the dirty filters and the clean pool surfaces this unit really works well. If the sides of the pool have too much algae the unit will not climb the sides, but once the algae is gone it does quite well. I am pleased that the Triton Plus Pool Cleaner with PowerStream can handle the dog hair with some simple upkeep on my part. The My Dolphin app for this unit seems to only have two options: you can turn it on and off (you cannot adjust to any cleaning mode other than regular or the time it runs) but you can manually control it to get any place it has missed. Typically if I see any missed places, I just hit run again and let it run one more two hour cycle. I like the fact that it is pushing water through the micro filters even if the pool is relatively clean. Overall I am quite pleased, I would purchase again and E-Z Test Pool Supplies gave me the information I needed to make this purchase. I withheld one star because I am in no position to judge long term dependability, but so far so good. I do store the unit upside down and keep it out of the direct sunlight when it is not in the pool. I also rinse it with non-chlorinated water when it is out of the pool to extend the life. My young son would like me to mention that it looks cool at night, so it looks cool running at night!
