The Fiber Clear Cellulose Filter Media D.E. Alternative for Swimming Pools is a safe alternative to Diatomaceous earth needed for DE filters. Only one pound of this biodegradable, non-toxic material is required to get the same results as 8 lbs. of D.E.

Sand & Cartridge Filters Application:
Fiber Clear works well in cartridges and/or sand filters as a filter aid. With the circulating pump operating, put one handful of Fiber Clear at a time on the surface of the water in the skimmer until the filter pressure gauge shows an increase of one pound. Fiber Clear will form a coating or cake over the surface of the sand bed or filter cartridge providing much finer filtration. Your pool water will come alive with a clarity and sparkle unlike anything you have ever experienced before.
