Pool Frog's BAM has a unique formula that will keep algae from forming for 90 days whether you have an in ground or above ground swimming pool. Combined with the mineral effectiveness of Pool Frog and at least 0.5 ppm of chlorine, you'll enjoy months of algae free pool water! Pool Frog BAM contains a low 3% copper complex (considerably lower than any other algaestats) that is especially formulated to stay in suspension for the full 90 days. This unique formula has no staining potential like other copper additives. Pool Frog BAM was designed to be dispensed through the Pool Frog System for even distribution throughout the pool over time. Specially designed to dispense through one of our Pool FROG Cyclers (Model 5400, Model 6100, XL PRO® or Twin) FROG BAM can also be used with INSTANT FROG® or Flippin’ FROG®. Works great as a winterizer too.
- Water balance is the key. Test water regularly and maintain proper pH range of 7.2 – 7.8 ppm.
- Clean pump, filter and skimmer. Remove organic matter from pool water.
- Limit fertilizer on grass near your pool. Fertilizers feed algae!
- After rain or heavy pool use add a shock to the water.
- Keep up-to-date: Replace Mineral Reservoir every spring or 6 months, whichever comes first, and replace Bac Pac® as needed.
- Use FROG BAM every 3 months. Use 1 bottle for every 15,000 gallons.
