Replaced a US Motor that only needed a plastic cone that isn’t available. I’ll stick with Hayward from now on!

OEM Quality Replacement at a Great Price

Posted by DW on Jul 6 2021

I purchased this motor when the original motor on my pump started making a loud noise. I figured that the bearings were going out on the old one, and sure enough, under closer inspection, that was the case, although it wasn't just from age, as I had assumed. The shaft seal at the impeller was leaking backwards towards the motor, and the motor's seal was then also leaking. I purchased this new motor and a seal and gasket kit. It was an extremely straightforward replacement, with 8 bolts total. This new motor works perfectly and is much quieter than the old one had been in years, plus it was at least $150 cheaper from eztestpools than what I had found anywhere else. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
