Speck Pumps E71-II VHV Variable Speed Pump - Above Ground Pools
Looking for a variable speed pump for your above ground pool? We recommend the Speck E71-II VHV (1.1 THP) variable speed swimming pool pump. This pump is high performance and meets both world energy and environmental requirements.
Variable speed pumps (VSP) are quieter, smaller, and sleeker than older style single or dual speed models. They have become so efficient that they can actually work to lower your summer electrical bills anywhere from 50% to 80%. Some states even offer special rebate programs with savings all of the way up to $500. The Speck E71-11 VHV is a model that is eligible for all rebate programs!
This Speck Pump comes with an industry standard Carbon/Ceramic 5/8″ mechanical shaft seal for convenient replacement if needed. It’s non-corrosive, resistant to chemicals and UV and withstands temperatures up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. This pump can be configured for either a horizontal or vertical discharge without having to switch pump casings and both the suction and discharge ports are equipped with hose adapters. The strainer basket is always locked in place and the LED screen and keypad are constructed with a clear lid for easy use. It’s also got a lock ring design for protection and simple opening and closing.
The pump is equipped with a 1.1 THP (48 frame thru-bolt mount) Variable Speed Motor. This motor runs on a wide voltage range 100-130/200-250V (no need to rewire to switch voltage). It automatically detects 115V or 230V. There are 3 Adjustable Power Levels. These levels can be set to range from 50 Watts/1000 RPM to 1000 Watts/3500 RPM (in increments of 10 Watts). The motor is a programmable high efficiency TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled) maintenance-free permanent magnet brushless 48 frame unit. The O-rings located throughout the pump are reusable through and every single pump is tested for performance before it leaves the Speck factory.
The U.S. Government has a new regulation saying that all pool pumps that are either manufactured for use or imported for use, after July 19, 2021 must meet new efficiency standards. Now is a great time to invest in a new variable speed pump for your swimming pool!
