OnGuard Scorch Plus is a non-chlorine shock treatment for swimming pools that maintains pool clarity and controls chloramines and odor. This product should be used as a "super" oxidizing agent. It does not contain chlorine or algaecide.
OnGuard Scorch Plus is a concentrated powder that dissolves easily in water. It is safe for use in all types of pools, including vinyl, fiberglass, and concrete pools.

Application
OnGuard Scorch Plus is used to shock a pool when the chlorine levels are low or when the pool is cloudy. It can also be used to control chloramines and odor.
Dosing
- Initial Dosing: 2 lbs per 10,000 gallons of water
- Regular Dosing: 1 lb per 10,000 gallons of water weekly
Directions
- Broadcast the required amount of this product directly into the deep end of the pool with the filtration system running.
- Apply in the morning or evening when no bathers are in the water. Swimming or bathing may be resumed in 15 minutes.
- NOTE: This product will produce false high total chlorine readings for 48-72 hours
