Anderson Manufacturing 1.5" Brass Hook Plug Closed, 845, is a heavy‑duty brass test/winterizing plug with a 90‑degree hook handle, designed to seal 1½" pool plumbing lines past the threads for pressure testing, winterizing, or isolating lines.
What It Does
This closed hook plug compresses a rubber sealing head inside 1½" return lines, main drains, or other fittings so you can pressure‑test lines or block water during winterization and leak detection. A 1½" extension between the wing nut and the rubber allows the seal to be made beyond the threaded area, which improves sealing reliability compared to standard short plugs.
