Enhanced Shock

Shocking is a very important part of spa maintenance as it removes organic contaminants that are left behind from both bathers and the environment. These compounds, when present in the water can lead to irritated skin, burning eyes, and strong odors. Luckily, with regular spa maintenance and use of spa shock the oxidizing process (shocking the water) can occur and return your water to its pristine condition.

The SpaGuard Enhanced Shock is multi-purpose with four benefits in one. It’s a shock, clarifier, pH buffer and a flocculent. It removes any unpleasant odors and restores a sparkle to the spa water itself. With the use of the Enhanced Shock, you can treat the water and then soak in as little as 15 minutes. It’s also compatible with chlorinated or brominated spas and those using ozone or ionization systems.

Brominating Concentrate

These granules are fast dissolving, with no chlorine odor. Using them is only a one step process as they are dual-acting as both a sanitizer and an oxidizer thus eliminating the need for two products. No pre-dissolving is needed and you can apply directly to the water while the pump is running.

Brominating Tablets

These tablets are composed of organic brominating compound which is then compressed into 1-inch tablets. They dissolve quickly and protect continuously. They are ideal for heavy bather loads as well as for use with commercial spas. Application usually occurs in a brominator or a SpaGuard floating dispenser.

Chlorinating Concentrate

The SpaGuard Chlorinating Concentrate is quick to dissolve and fast to act. This product is both a sanitizer and an oxidizer thus eliminating the need to use two separate products. With no pre-dissolving needed, it can be applied directly to the water while the pump is running.

pH

pH is very important to the comfort of the people using your spa as well as protecting the spa equipment from corrosion and scale. The ideal pH is between 7.2 and 7.6 and anything outside of this range can lead to those bothersome red and itchy eyes. Paying attention to the balance of your spa water is a necessity as it controls total alkalinity, mineral imbalances, controls scale, and adjust pH.

SpaGuard pH Increaser

raises the pH level of the water, protects equipment from corrosion due to low pH and balances water for bather comfort.

                   

SpaGuard pH Decreaser

lowers the PH level of the water, protects equipment from damage due to high pH, prevents cloudy water due to high pH, and balances the water for bather comfort.

Total Alkalinity Increaser

this eliminates the “pH bounce” by balancing total alkalinity. It helps to prevent equipment and surface corrosion as well as possible damage due to low pH. 1 tbsp. per 100 gallons raises total alkalinity by 25 ppm.

                   

Calcium Hardness Increaser

prevents corrosion of equipment and degradation of spa surfaces. 1 tbsp. per 100 gallons increases calcium hardness by ~25 ppm.

Anti-Foam Concentrate

The SpaGuard Anti-Foam Concentrate is quick acting in eliminating any surface foam caused by pesky detergents or any undesirable compounds. It can be used with all types of sanitizers and in all spas and hot tubs.

                  

Stain & Scale Control

The SpaGuard Stain and Scale control prevents scale formation and cloudy water due to high calcium levels. It removes scale build up preventing damage to surfaces and circulation systems. It also removes metal stains which are relatively fresh.

Natural Spa Enzyme

The Spa Enzyme product takes care of oils by converting them to compounds that are easier to remove. It improves water clarity, reduces unpleasant odors, reduces the scum-line build-up and works to keep the spa water nice and clear.

Spa System Flush

The Spa System Flush works with all spa sizes and sanitizer systems to remove unseen build-up in spa plumbing that can impact performance.
