Is your brass safety cover anchor stuck in place? Follow along with us, we have a quick hack to help get it loose!
You will need:
- Hex key Allen wrench
- Watering hose with jet settling
*Do not use a hex anchor screw key instead you should use a hex key Allen wrench set. We recommend using a hex key Allen wrench set because it gives you more torque to break the seal of your brass cover anchor.
1. First, you are going to spin your brass cover anchor up, stopping once it gets stuck. Then slowly spin it back down.
2. Spin it back up for a second time while spraying it with your watering hose on the jet setting. Spray it directly on the brass cover anchor. The water acts as a lubricant to loosen your brass cover anchor. Do not use grease of WD-40.
3. The last key to this hack is patience. Spin your brass cover anchor up and continue spraying it with water until it is unstuck.
