  Easy salt system for above ground pools

  Love this Hayward AquaTrol system. Easy to install and maintain. Water feels great.

  Easy Install

  Replaced our Intex saltwater chlorinator with this AquaTrol this year. Only two months in, but no problems so far. I like that it reads the saltwater level in the pool, and the water temp.

  Great Price

  So far so good. I had to get my pool company out to hook up the cell because the old fittings were too big. The control panel is pretty straight forward and I like the fact it has its own built in timer. My old system was hooked up to a time (this one is too) and I just removed the stops and set to ON and the new system started right up and on time. If you dont have a salt water chlorination system you need to get one.

  Wonderful Addition

  This chlorinator works like a champ. I have an in ground pool (10,000) gallons and the Hayward works just fine. My wife loves it due to the fact of not having the chlorine smell and all that goes with it. No tablets easy on the bathing suit and sparkling water. Just because this chlorinator is advertised for above ground pools does not mean it will not do the job for an in ground pool at half the price. I did have to adapt the chlorinator cell to add to the PVC line coupling but that was easy.

  Love Our Pool Water

  We have had these in place for a few years now....they seem to only last about two to three years.....They do what they do fine but our second system just stopped working a couple of days ago so I have to replace again. I guess it is cheaper than putting a $1000 in chemicals into my pool each year but still a bit frustrating....at this price it seems it should last awhile.

  Pool Care Made Easy

  At first I was worried that this would be expensive and complicated, although the system can be a bit pricey, it was very easy to install and get going. I have had this in place for 2 months so far and have been very pleased. We used to spend so much on chlorine and other chemical every month before we switched over to this salt water system, I should have switched sooner. The most difficult part of the installation for me was adding a cut off under the unit to make filter care easy and avoiding water escaping pool. The control unit is easy to use and is as simple as setting the timer and checking the salt level every once and awhile to make sure you are at good levels. We have a 9K gallon pool, small compared to what this system could handle. We added 6 bags of pool salt and PH up to get the pool balanced, 50 dollars worth, and have not had to add any other chemical.
