The Filter Fiber Stuff can be used as a safe alternative to DE in DE filters but requires less than half the amount of product by weight when using DE. It’s a great product to use in enhancing the filtering performance of both sand and cartridge as well.
The Filter Stuff is non-toxic making it safe to handle and store as well as be safely backwashed as it’s biodegradable. It extends the life of filters and minimizing clogging while helping to achieve crystal clear sparkling water.
Please be aware that the first couple of filter runs may be shorter because of the filtration of finer particles. This product is also Water Quality Association certified and has met specific requirements of NSF/ANSI-50 for both pools and hot tubs.
