This Super-Pro 1.5" x 25' Deluxe Backwash Hose, 2124WBUSS025 is used for cleaning out the waste water from the filter. Attaches easily to a tapered fitting (not included) and inserted into the backwash port of the filter. Backwash hoses can also be used for draining your pool. About Backwashing
