Polaris Robotic Pool Cleaners
Product Snapshots!
We’ve got some great new Polaris robots that are available for in-store purchase only. Polaris has been at it for more than 40 years and is known not just in this country. but throughout the world.
This robot orchestrates a top of the line cleaning performance as it’s easy to use app allows you to check-in and monitor progress from anywhere you want on your smartphone. It’s easy to use and crafted in a way to keep maintenance at a low level.
The 9650IQ Sport looks very similar to the 9550 with reflections of a sports car. Styled with a great looking blue shell and complimented with grey accents finished with thick rubber wheels, this robot “vehicle” is certainly ready to go.
It’s designed for inground pools up to 60 feet long and is equipped with a gray 70-foot-long cable on a swivel mechanism which really helps combat any chance of a tangling of the cable. The cable is also engineered to be flexible and allowed for gathering and wrapping up for storage on the caddy when not in operation.
This robot checks in with a weight of 21 pounds and measures out at 16.9 x 18.9 x 10.6 inches. Four-wheel drive helps the vehicle expertly navigate the pool while front loaded brushes help whisk away dirt and debris prior to it being sucked into the removable mesh canister while the excess water is filtered and put back into the pool through a water jet located in the back of the robot.
The canister is easily located and can be removed quickly and efficiently without ever having to get your hands dirty. This in of itself is a great selling point as many other cleaners require you removing components or cleaning something by hand which sometimes seems to defeat the purpose.
The brains of the 9650iQ is the head unit. It measures 8.0 by 7.5 by 4.5 inches (HWD) and is mounted on the caddy. The on-board computer is located in the head unit and is controlled by a 2-inch LCD panel displaying the time remaining for the current cleaning cycle, and LED indicators for Wi-Fi, web, and LAN connectivity. Another really neat feature is the robot allows you to connect your phone to it without depending on your home Wi-Fi. There is also a start/stop button, an indicator for a dirty canister as well as a button to tell the robot what exactly in the pool needs cleaning if you choose to go this way.
Polaris uses the iAquaLink app which gives you the exact same control as it you were glancing at the LCD display on the unit. You can instruct the robot and schedule cleaning schedule for the day or even the whole week. There's even an on-screen joystick for steering, or you can use your phone as a motion controller by tilting it in the direction you want the cleaner to travel. Again, this is a really great feature.
There’s a caddy included and the vehicle is stored in a vertical position to encouraged any excess draining allowing you time to actually kick back and enjoy your pool instead of always cleaning it. While some may think the price is a bit high, it actually costs less than some Aquabot models on the market
The 8050 Sport is built to clean all surfaces in all inground pools. It expertly drives everywhere on its tracks, climbs all of the walls, navigates the steps and thoroughly scrubs the pool so you don’t have to.
It utilizes Polaris’ Cyclonic Vacuum Technology, comes with a 50’ cable, and cleans everything without ever losing any suction. The 8050 expertly captures debris and has a Push’N’Go filter canister enabling debris removal along with a large transparent viewing window. Some additional and useful features include: a surface control system that adjusts surface settings to climb the walls better and at an optimal level, dual cleaning cycle that work on-demand and at the touch of a button, a transparent lid to see when it is time to empty the robot, a rugged caddy (no need for tools) for ease in transport, and so much more. The 8050 (and really all Polaris robots) are engineered to go the distance in energy savings as they are designed to clean the entire pool in as little as 1.5 hours and typically cost only pennies per day
Many great features on the Quattro. The brand’s very successful Cyclonic Vacuum Technology is installed on this unit which captures debris while never losing suction or stability. Just like the 8050 model, there is the Push’N’Go Filter canister, transparent lid, surface control system, an oversized intake area and lots more.
The Quattro is named for Polaris’ new 4-wheel design which seeks to obtain a deeper clean and have never really been found in a pressure side cleaner. The robot actually has the ability to collect pebbles, acorns, leaves and other items as its powered by a booster pump and similar triple venturi jets that are found in other popular Polaris cleaners. Quattro Sport features takes full advantage of its oversized intake to go ahead and get the job done.
The Quattro devours debris while boasting all of these features:
Active Brushing
Equipped with rotating brushes that actively scrub and scour floors, walls and
the waterline —Quattro Sport penetrates deep to remove fine, stuck-on debris.
Aggressive Wall Climbing
Quattro Sport boasts 4WD agility, enabling unmatched climbing to ensure
superior cleaning from floor to waterline.
Dual-Stage Filtration
From leaves and acorns to sand and silt, the dual-stage filtration system
collects both large debris and fine particulates.
Large Easy-Clean Debris Canister
Quattro Sport replaces the customary filter bag with a large capacity
easy-clean debris canister and transparent window — allowing users to see when
the canister is full, so they can simply remove, shake, and spray the canister
clean.
Multi-Directional Navigation
Engineered to turn on a dime, its innovative navigation technology ensures
quick, efficient and complete cleaning coverage for the entire pool.
