Repairing a Vinyl Liner Tear

Imagine you're vacuuming your pool and all of a sudden your skimmer pole slips off and you cut a hold in your liner! Now what? Well, what could have been thousands of dollars spent on a new liner and a ruined pool season, can be fixed with a simple patch. Using the Boxer Adhesives Vinyl Pool Repair Kit, you should easily be able to patch the damage.

Step 1: Cut the supplied vinyl to twice the size of the hole, making sure to round the corners.

Step 2: Apply Boxer Vinyl Adhesive to the patch. Saturating the entire patch, then pour a bit of water to the applied adhesive to create tact and active the adhesive.

Step 3: Now it is time to apply the patch under water. Start by folding the patch in half as you go underwater. Slowly open it and apply it firmly to the damaged area.

Apply firm pressure and make sure all bubbles are removed between the patch and liner.

Step 4: Leave it to set for 24 hours.

It really is that simple!
