Maytronics Dolphin Explorer E70 vs. Maytronics Dolphin M600
The Dolphin Explorer E70 and The Dolphin M600 push the limits when it comes to pool cleaning. Both are sophisticated automated robots for inground pools coming with a multi-layer filter and an extra-large top load basket. They clean the floor, walls, and waterline with the ability to rely on 3 different cleaning cycle times. Maytronics’ latest and ever-growing technology remains present and impactful as both robots use CleverClean and PowerStream for optimal route planning and expert maneuverability. Both the E70 and M600 use Bluetooth with WiFi and the MyDolphin App. These robots are powered with a 60 ft. cord, a 36 month-limited warranty, and weigh around 25 pounds. Which Robot Do I Choose?
What the choice comes down to with these two robots is whether you are looking to purchase online or in a retail environment. Within the pool & spa industry there are many times where retail “brick & mortar” products have other differences that may impact your purchasing decisions. Many times, a retail item may cost more than an online one but on the other hand, the warranty on the product is usually better in a retail store than in an online environment. This is not the case when comparing the M600 & the E70. The warranty provided on both robots is 3 years and prices are very close.
Whether it’s the Explorer E70 or the M600, you have many of the same pros and cons you come across when purchasing any products in these two “channel” environments. If you have a local or chain retail store that you support and trust then you may be more comfortable going there to check out the M600. Maybe you already have a relationship with them and you can take advantage of “showrooming” where they have the pool cleaner models on display in the store where you can see and touch them. Of course, going this route, you have to consider store hours, and your own schedule versus shopping online at your convenience and on your schedule. You can research, purchase, and have your new E70 robot shipped right to your door.
Regardless of the choice that you make, E-Z Test Pool Supplies is an authorized retailer of Maytronics Dolphin robots and our team would be happy to help answer any questions that you may have.
