Let’s dig into the spa itself, starting with its Triple-Bond Acrylic Shell. In an ordinary spa, the shell deteriorates over a period of time. However; Strong Spas has changed that with its new Strong Bond and reinforced acrylic shell that is manufactured with a three-layer construction process. This begins with a genuine Lucite Xtra acrylic sheet, a non-porous material that does not harbor bacteria. Then, it is laminated with a vinyl ester bonding layer that acts as a vapor barrier. Lastly, it is layered with a StongBond polyurethane component, locking in its superior strength.

The DURA-SHIELD hardcover is one of the many highlights of Strong Spas. This hardcover was engineered to provide the toughest protection and ultimate thermal efficiency. The locking cover can hold well over 1,000 pounds and is as easy to open as a car door. In addition, our cover is fully insulated with closed-cell foam to keep the cold out and the heat in.
